Man this week's been really good to me.
I booked in on Monday night, booked out on Friday cus it was some "Eat with your family day" or something like that. Then booked in again on saturday and booked out on the same day.
It means that i spent quite some few days off camp, which is good.
Well last week i did fire fightthing which killed me, but this week i did Damage Control, it was really fun doing it.
Basically it taught us what to do in case there's flooding onboard ship.
I dunno how to explain it all, but it sure was fun.
The new batch of BMT Recruits are coming this wednesday, haha can't wait to see them going through tieir 10 weeks here.
So yea, yesterday met up with Jus and did the prayer session with her and just walked around CWP.
It's just amazing to see so many shops for the ladies, but so few for the men's.. they should do something about this.
Met Andrea some of her friends , and also bumped into the d'cruz and jill at CWP, as i needed to buy present for jess as i was going to her house later for the party.
The party went alright, met some new people there.
Oh yea and charlie has flown to the philippines for a mission trip, did not see him off.
Feel kina bad about it, sorry bro, hope you have fun there.. Take care, see ya soon !
And then had to do my usual mass announcent, it went quite bad today cuz father was looking at me.
Attended 11am mass, had a quick lunch and was off for metting.
The rest of the stones are going to the camp this week, not sure if i can make it.
So yea, meeting was good and it ended on a good note.
Met her and it has been 5 good months with her.
Brought her something, and she likes it =).
So going back to camp soon, gonna miss my life again.
Take care people, see ya all soon !!

And then another week just passes just like that.
But this was really the most tiring week of my Navy life so far... Yet !
Everything was going just well untill we had to attend the Basic Fire Fighting Course conducted by the Civil Defence at their academy.
I was kina thinking to myself it was gonna be real easy just putting out the fire, but i was so wrong.
The first was was just simple theory so i was'nt bothered much about it, but the next 2 days took the life out of me.
So on the 2nd day we went to some place in mandai for pratical lessons.
I was wearing the navy dresscode called a Coverall.. It looks more like the guys working in the PSA where it's a long sleeve shirt kina like pants connected together, just figure out how it looks like.
And that i had to wear a second layer of shirt and pants, the fireman outfit.
Plus having to wear the facemask and carry the CO2 Cylinder which was about 12Kgs.
Had to squat down all the time when putting out the fire as not to get my back burned my the ceiling.
The fire was really huge and the worst part was that i could'nt breath properly.
So everytime my team complets it's task i just took of the facemask so that i can breathe normal fresh air.
And not only that i was sweating so much that i was drenched by my own sweat.
As we were heading back to camp i seriously had breathing problems.
The last day killed me, well i'm still alive.
We had to complete a maze kind thing, just that we had to do the task without any light.
Got into a group of 3 and went about completing it.
Had to crawl all the way in there, and used hands to feel where there is an opening so that we knew which way to turn.
I was breathing so heavly, and i started my Oxygen tank with 300 bars and when the whole thing was completed i had nothing left.
Just when i thought it was over on the afternoon had to do some rescue mission with 5 persons in a group.
We needed to put out a really big fire, and then rescue a dummy which was about 80kg in weight and put it out to a safe place.
Oh that one killed me totally as it was real tiring to do the whole exercise.
When i completed it i was so out of breath.
And after 3 days of that, all i got was a Cert.
All i can say that, the people from Civil Defence are really fit people.
I'm still having some breathing problems and i hope i can breath better.
Hahaha, now finally i can enjoy a 3 day break !!!

Yesterday went alright for me actually. Woke up late again and had to meet Justina.
Had to do a prayer session with her and Jill for the parables and living water. I think it went alright.
Looking at their faces when they ate the so call digusting food was funny. As the gave all sorts of faces after eating it.
After the session decided to shop at causeway point, and i went to John Little to buy stuff.
Well i got a shirt and a jeans, and as i was changing in the dressing room when i smelled something.
It really smelt like shit, but then again there's no way anyone's going to shit there right, or so i thought to myself.
As the stench of the smell got even worser i decided to quickly try what ever i got and get out of the dressing room as soon as possible.
As i was coming out i saw it ! Right oppisite my dressing i saw a pile of Shit on the floor in the other dressing room, and oh boy was it smelly !!
And so i quickly got out of there, brought my things and left the place. No i know that i'll never step into that dressing room.
Today it's Happy Mother's Day, i did wish my mom :p.
And the weather was bad as it was raining really bad in the morning, but it was cool.
And yea i was pretty amazed with Lari, Sheila and Jasmine's cooking. Wow it really tasted good.
Really enjoyed eating espacially the chicken curry. haha ..
Meeting went really well, got to know more things.
Met up with drea afte meeting to watch the House Of Wax.
The stupid people kept checking the IC to ensure we were above 16, so irratitaing.
Well the movie was just alright, nothing wonderful.
Just at a bit sadist. There's just too manyy killing involved and it's really sick. I'll give it 3 out of 5.
Came back home after that, just finished packing... Dam got to book it back tomorrow.
Just when my day is approching, i have to be confined in camp.
Really got no mood to go in there, but hope i'll be out of there on sat.
Till then, take care all !!

Alright It's been 10 loog weeks, but i've done it. Yes i've completed my BMT.. Finally !!!
I thought i was'nt going to make it as i still did not pass my swmming test, but i had my IPPT test to help me through it as i passed it.
But come to think about it, i can swim now.. it's just the treading part, it's really hard.
Well had 6 weeks of hard training and after that had 2 weeks of basic seamanship course, which is like studying all about Navy and all.
Life's there is alright just for some mosquito problems at night.
Every night all of us there get mosquito bites and in the morning the bites are really visible, but for some unlucky friends of mine their whole body is infested with the bittes and the whole body will be reall red.
Besides that the food there is really nice. I think i eat more then i excersie.. haha !
Oh yea and then there's the wind! It's so windy out there every single day.
Although it may get really hot sometimes, the wind does helps me to cool down.
And when after i did complete my 8 weeks there, we were alreay preparing for the Passing Out Parade.
Somehow i got selected as the MC for the whole thing. Was quite hard to remember all the lines i had to say. But it was worth it.
So i was just slacking for the of the 2 weeks, and yes not excersing at all.
And yea about my uniform, i do not need to wear the Army uniform anymore!!
I just recived the Navy uniform which is white and blue. It's way better then the army's.
Then just last wednesday was my POP. Felt really good that it's over and it was really 10 weeks well spent!
Now that's over i got to book in back on monday.
Another 6 weeks of studying, yes no more training at all, just studying for 6 whole weeks as they will give me a vocation to go to.
BMT was fun, sure it had it's up's and Down's but that's how life is.
Just hope that rest of my days there will go just great and yea i need to pass my swimming !!!!
Hahahaha ... somehow this post seems really funny, but will post another 1 soon.
Take care people !!~
